Jinka Harish Babu is directing a film Surya Senapati, produced by Prasad Babu of Sri Chamundeshwari Devi Film Entertainments. Surya Prasad plays the lead role in it. The logo of the film was unveiled by Rajasekhar and Jeevitha at a function organised in Hyderabad on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajasekhar said, "I'm happy that the film is being made in both Telugu and Banjara languages. There are 800 million people in the country who speak the Banjara language. It is a nice gesture to make a film for them."
Jinka Harish Babu said, "We started the film in October. This is the first film to be made in Banjara." Music director Satya added that four songs have already been recorded. Surya Prasad said that a lot of research went into the movie. Jeevitha wished the team all success.
Also present were Azad, Chitram Seenu, Maddela Narasaiah, Maddela Raghu Babu and Murali.
Featuring Surya Prasad and Jinka Harish Babu as heroes, the logo of the film ‘Surya Senapathi’ was released by Dr Rajasekhar and Jeevitha at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. The film is being produced by Sri Chamundeswari Devi Films Entertainments banner.
Addressing the gathering Dr Rajasekhar said, “I’m associated with Azaad for the past 10 years. This movie is being picturised in Telugu and Banjara languages. It is learnt that there are 80 lakhs people who speak Banjara language. I’m very happy to note that this film is being picturised for them. This is a good try by director Muthyala Subbayya. I hope the movie to be a grand success. At the time of agitation by the Telugu film industry, the arrival of new producers is a healthy sign.”
