Actor Arun Vijay @ celebrating his birthday with Udavum Karangal kids in Chennai

On 19th Nov, Arun Vijay celebrated his birthday with Udavum Karangal kids. It has been a practice of the actor to visit the place every year on his birthday. He said that he likes to celebrate the day with the kids there, especially the little ones.

Arun was accompanied by his wife and daughter. The actor amidst the kids cut his birthday cake and later had breakfast with the children.

Actor Arun Vijay celebrated his birthday at Udavum Karangal orphanage as usual. Arun Vijay cut cake with a girl Thavasi, an inmate of the home, who was also celebrating her birthday on 19th  of November.
“It has been my practice that I celebrate my birthday there with all the kids, especially the little ones. There is also a little girl, Thavasi, who shares her birthday with me. And its nice to see her grow when I visit her every year. She celebrated her 7th birthday with me this year”, said the actor. Arun Vijay is presently shooting for his upcoming film 'Thadayara Thaakka'.

Actor Arun Vijay celebrated his birthday on 19th Nov with the kids at ‘Udhavum Karangal’ orphange, Thiruverkadu like every year. A young girl Thavasi, an inmate of the home also had her birthday on the same day and both cut a cake together. His wife Arthy too accompanied the actor.

Arun Vijay got injured recently during the shooting of his upcoming film Thadayara Thaakka.

Recently on Arun Vijay's birthday on 19 nov, the actor was seen busily shooting for his filmMaanja Velu. However he also spent a good part of the day with the children of Udavum Karangal at Thiruverkadu like every year. Says he, " It has been my practice that I celebrate my birthday there with all the kids, especially the little ones. There is also a little girl, Thavasi, who shares her birthday with me. And its nice to see her grow when I visit her every year. She celebrated her 5th birthday with me this year. "

From there it was a straight drive to the shooting spot. Arun adds, "After having breakfast with them I had my film shooting for 'Maanja Velu' at a temple in Thirunindravoor which lies approximately 30 kms from Chennai. That gave me an opportunity to visit the Shiva shrine, coincidentally that happens to be my favourite God. After a wonderful darshan and peaceful prayers the day continued pleasantly at work too working on combination with actor Karthik, Kanja Karuppu and the heroine. At the end of the shoot, the chief technicians- my dircetor A.Venkatesh, cameraman A.Venkatesh and my producerDr.N.S.Mohan surprised me with a huge cake that I cut and celebrated with the entire unit. I was also glad that I could work with my wonderful team even on my birthday as my phone kept ringing non-stop with calls from my oldest of friends, fans and family congratulating me on my birthday and the success of my film Malai Malai.

Placing a cherry on the cake, was the party organised by my family for me with friends. The bash went on well and brought the eventful day to an end. "
