Sarwanand,Jai,Anjali,Ananya starrer 'Journey' audio was launched couple of hours back in a grand function at Hyderabad. Star tollywood dignitaries graced the occasion and the environment was extremely calm,serene and jovial in the presence of poised female anchor. Dressed in blue salwar she lighted up the atmosphere where the film makers recieved prominent chief guests cordially. If one just starts the narration about 'Journey' s audio launch much interest won't be generated but it is extremely significant as ace kollywood director Murugadoss is making his dream debut as producer. This telugu remake of kollywood hit film 'Engeyum Eppodum' is already the talk of the town as the original is minting money even beating Murugadoss' much hyped 'Seventh Sense'. All this in debutant Saravanan's direction.
Murugadoss,Director Saravanan,Sarwanand,Anjali and producers of the film attended the function that was graced by tollywood youth icons 'Allari' Naresh,Rana Daggubati,Nani and producers,directors. Murugadoss speaking on the occasion said he was guilt personafied that the film makers put his name in promos while the actual credit should go to director Saravanan and he said Saravanan's talent is worth mentioning as his 'Engeyum Eppodum' was awarded 3 stars by popular film magazine while his '7th sense' a mere two stars. He wished the film a success even in telugu. Producer Suresh Kondeti said he is happy to release Murugadoss debut film as producer in telugu.He says hero Sarwanand's role will bring him fame just like 'Gamyam' and 'Prasthanam'.
Leader Rana who attended the function despite his busy schedule said Sarwanand was elder to him and he was his senior in college. He said he sees some resemblances in other hero Jai with top kollywood actor Vijay and so he watches all his films. He said he listened to the songs and the audio will be a big hit in coming days. Sarawanand said everyone started asking why he is doing only travel titled films like 'Prastanam','Gamyam' and now 'Journey' and many even started making fun of him whether he would use all the travel related titles. He thanked the film makers for giving him the opportunity in kollywood enabling him to prove his potential. Nani said whenever he used to interact with Sarwanand why he is doing kollywood films he would reply just for job satisfaction and he wished both Sarwanand and Murugadoss should get 'Jebu' (Pocket) satisfaction meaning profits apart from job satisfication. Pretty Heroine Anjali of 'Shopping Mall' fame spoke in chaste telugu and said she did her own dubbing in tamil and telugu. She promised she will definetely act in a telugu film if given chance. She said hero Sarwanand used to feel leftout in kollywood as he couldnt follow tamil and only she used to give him company. She joked in a lighter vien that he can openup here as everyone speaks in telugu.
Journalist turned producer Gopichand said Murugadoss was a good friend of him and thanked him for arranging for a special show of the film even before the release of the original showing utmost confidence in him. He said even Ram Charan Tej liked the original songs tuned by C.Satya and hoped the film's songs will be chart busters in the coming days. He wished C.Satya a successful journey in tollywood and kollywood film industry with his music. Suresh Kondeti said jos nammer Fpx India Enterprises is honored for producing Murugadoss' debut film as producer in telugu and wished the top director will do a straight film in tollywood in their banner. Murugadoss along with his son released the audio of the film and handed over the first copy of CD to Rana Daggubati. Later everyone were presented with the audio CDs of the film.
