Although, there are number of films releasing every year in Telugu, proportionately there are no film magazines to cover the movie news. Perhaps, it is because the people have lost their book-reading habit or due to change in their life-style they can't afford to go through a book, come it may be a cinema magazine or a weekly magazine. Hence, it gives way to movie web sites which takes the responsibility of reporting movie news to worldwide readers.
Tollywood actor Nagababu has launched a new fortnight cinema magazine named 'Tara Jyothi' on Sunday evening at Hyderabad. B. Srinivas is the editor of this magazine. After launching the magazine Nagababu speaking to media has said "We have only a handful of cinema magazines now. We need more movie magazines to cover the movie news. The media shouldn't aim their interest for creating sensation or controversy through their news contents. Instead, it should report the truth only and should encourage the movie industry and the people with its movie reporting."
Editor Srinivas has assured that, his Tara Jyothi magazine will bridge the gap between industry and the people and will not run for sensational news. He said he has five years of experience in the media and he will maintain the standards in his magazine.
