After the deal between Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt’s production house got terminated, she has gone ahead and tied up his friend-turned-foe, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta.
Ekta earlier worked with Sunil Shetty's Popcorn Entertainment which produced films such as “Mission Istanbul” and “EMI” in collaboration with Ekta’s production house Balaji.
But Ekta was not happy with the partnership as both these films flopped.
Later she tied up with Sanjay Dutt Productions for 10 movies to be made over four years. But since none of the movies took off, the deal was called off.
