The book launch of Deanne Panday’s I’m Not Stressed was quite the star studded affair. Cyrus Broacha was hosting and he had everyone in splits with his words. Cyrus referred to Deanne as the ‘big boy’.
She was anything but that though, too nervous to even speak about her own book. When it was time to introduce the chief guest, Shah Rukh Khan, Cyrus pretended he needed a sheet with SRK’s biography to welcome him on stage.
Apparently, Shah Rukh Khan’s association with Deanne Panday goes back a long way. She was one of his first friends when he came to Mumbai. He has even written the foreword to the book sharing some fun experiences him and his wife, Gauri have had with Deanne. SRK looked quite charming in his Don 2 avatar, slick hair tied in a small ponytail.
potted: Bipasha Basu, Dino Morea, Nandita Mahtani, Chunky Pandey, Bhavna Pandey, Tanya Deol and Rocky S. The digs Cyrus took on Chunky Pandey’s shirt were absolutely hilarious referring to the Paul & Shark band as a sash. It was a fun afternoon made better with SRK’s presence.
